Privacy

We count actions. We do not identify people.

What we record. When you use this site we keep only anonymous totals: that an action happened (for example "email button clicked" or "shared on X"), which campaign it belonged to, and the time. Page views are counted per day along with the name of the site that referred you (for example "facebook.com"), never the full address of the page you came from. We do not record your name, email address, phone number, IP address, device details or location, and we do not use tracking cookies, pixels or third-party analytics.

Your name. If you type your name into the email panel it is used only to sign the email on your screen. It is kept in your own browser so you do not have to type it again, and it is never sent to us.

Sending the email. The email is written on this page and opened in your own email app or webmail (Gmail, Outlook, Microsoft 365 or Yahoo, if you choose one). It is sent from your account, under your name, and nothing passes through our servers. Each email includes a blind copy (BCC) to our stats address. When that copy arrives, our system notes that an email was sent and which of the listed Green Party addresses were in the To and CC lines, so that we can count how many emails each councillor and local party has received. The message itself, including your address and anything you wrote, is then discarded. It is never stored, read by a person or reused. If you would rather not be counted, remove the BCC address before you send. If you send an email to the stats address with the word "test" in the subject, it is logged as a test (time, number of addresses, which listed addresses) and not counted.

Calling and sharing. Calls are made from your own phone. The share buttons open Facebook, Instagram or X in a new tab with a ready-made caption and image; what happens there is governed by those services' own privacy policies, not ours.

The contact form. If you write to us through the contact form, we keep what you send: your message and, if you choose to give them, your name and email address. They are seen only by the campaign organiser, used only to deal with your message, and deleted once it has been dealt with. Messages that look like spam are filed separately and deleted without being read in detail. We do not record anything else about you when you use the form.

Cookies. The public site sets no cookies. The only cookie this site uses is a sign-in cookie for the campaign's own administrators.

Hosting. The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes your connection, including your IP address, in order to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We do not receive or store that information.

Councillors and local parties. Everything on this site about the Green Party, its councillors and its local parties, including names, wards, email addresses, phone numbers and photographs, was taken from public websites: the councils' own councillor pages, the Green Party's own sites and the published text of the motion. Those details were published so that the public can contact their representatives. We have added nothing from private sources. We use them for that purpose only, under the lawful basis of legitimate interests, and we share them with no one. If you are a councillor or local party officer and would rather not be contacted through this site, tell us through the contact form and we will remove your address.

Your rights. This site is run by Zionism Is Not Racism, an independent campaign. Because we hold no personal data about visitors, there is nothing for us to access, correct or erase on your behalf; if you believe we hold something about you, use the contact form. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
